What is the best brand of snowmobile to buy?

I am considering buying a used snowmobile and am wondering if ArticCat or Polaris or other? is the best. How recent of a sled could I get for $2,000-3,000?

Definately Yamaha.

    Honestly is personal preferance, no one can tell you ARCTIC CATS ARE WAY BETTER THEN EVERYTHING ELSE without lying! All the brands are made essentially the same just find something you like preferably with a warrenty. if your trying to keep costs low sometimes snowmobile dealers have outdated snowmobiles in the back that have nothing wrong with them! ask around! Everyone that says this is better then that just has brand loyalties

    i don’t personally ride because i dont have the land but we use them to get around the mountain here and they are all ski doo. They seem to hold up pretty well considering how rough we are on them

    i’d go for an arctic cat.
    not too recent but a decent year that isn’t all ghetto
