SnowMobile Information| SnowMobiles

i got a free travel to anywhere and is one of the parts available that i have i want to know more attractions of this place apart of the falls i want to know if there is a place where i can snowboard and use snowmobile i want to get that experiences
i forgot to tell i will go maybe in summer and plz tell me about where can i use snowmobile too

Unfortunately there is nowhere close to Niagara Falls for snowboarding unless you will have access to a vehicle and can drive a few hours to a snowy location. The falls is definitely something you have to see in your life. The closest places for snowboarding would be Holiday Valley, or Blue Mountain/Collingwood area. If you are up for an adventure, definitely check out Mount Tremblant in Quebec for a great snowboarding location and check out the beauty and culture of Quebec while you were there…it is approximately an 8 hour drive from Niagara Falls. Look into the time of year you plan on travelling though! It's hot and sunny in the summer! :) 29 degrees today! :)

    Congrats for the prize!
    niagra falls are to be seen to believe. It is an amazing work of nature. Lots of water , lots of noise, lots of fog, water freezing down in winter creating underground mountain of snow and what not?

    When you get to Niagra Falls make sure you see it from the Canadian side, no offence to the Americans but the view is far superior from the Canadians point of view. If you have some extra cash to splash hit the air with a helicopter or on one of the ferrys which will take you right up to the falls, other than that Niagra Falls the town offers little else except prostitutes.

    There are areas to ski/snowboard in both Ontario, Quebec states and on the United States side Pensylvania and New York states, Lake Placid, NY held the 1980 winter olympics.

    Anyway congrats on the prize and have a good trip

    Cheers

    Congrats on your prize.

    I'm born and raised in Ontario but now livw in Niagara Falls, NY. I agree that the Falls themselves and attractions are much better on the Canadian side.

    However, for snow, (if you're coming in the summer) Niagara Falls, NY has a snow park opening June 15th, right in downtown Niagara Falls. I'm not positive about boarding but know they have tubing.

    Um , it get’s pretty hot here in the summer so chances of getting to do any snow stuff is not very likely since the new snow park they are building is not done yet. There are a lot of attractions on both the US and Canadian sides of the boarder.

    Try this site;

    During the summer there are numerous free concerts and events of all sorts throughout the general area scheduled, depending on the specific dates you will be visiting. There are also casinos, horseraces and sport car races.

    It is very hot and humid in Niagara Falls, during the summer months. There will be no snowmobiling or snowboarding.

    There are places to snowboard during the winter near Niagara Region, but as for sledding, there are no organized, regulated trails.

    I live in Northern Ontario, and put my sled away almost three months ago………..
