SnowMobile Information| SnowMobiles

I am going snowmobiling this week in Brainerd, MN and I need to know what boots to wear. I will be on an Arctic Cat ZX 440 that is a few years old and I really need help. So this is my question; How much heat can I expect to get on my feet from the engine? Also; How many grams of thinsulate should I have in my boots approximately?

Don’t expect too much heat from the engine, but a pair of 600 gram thinsulate should be fine. But I would pack a few of those packages of toe heaters that you can find in just about any gas station or store. For the few dollars it costs to buy them, it’s worth the piece of mind to have them if you really need them. That way your day won’t be ruined by cold feet.
