can i use snowboarding boots for snowmobiling>?
Posted on Jan 22, 2010 under snowmobile boots |i’m going on a snowmobiling trip and was wondering if i can use snowboarding boots?? i just dont want to pay more money on boots. is there a big difference between these two?
they look alike…
If it is going to be 10 below zero or colder, don’t wear snowboard boots, I got frostbitten toes in -15 degree weather with my Van boots, so just spend 60 bucks on a good pair of baffins.. http://www.baffin.com/footwear/Polar_Expedition_Series.html … i got a wicked deal on them though, so i don’t know how much they really are, but you’ll stay warm, trust me, i haven’t been cold in -40 below yet

Yes Yes Yes, I go to the mts. a couple times a year and use my burtons on it they work really good i like them better for snowmobiling better then snowmobiling boots. They stick and hold great and keep warm and are flexable and thick for protection.

they will work fine, some even prefer it. i used to wear mine but i didn’t like how the snowboard boots force you to bend your knees… but for only a trip or 2 you’ll be fine.. have fun!
