Posted on Apr 02, 2010 under snowmobile insurance | 7 Commentswell…im almost 17/a girl.
ive been around motorcycles since i was a rugrat. Ive been totally fascinated and im considering getting one of my own.
Ive ridden on them before but always behind someone. Ive ridden jetskiis, snowmobiles and drive. I love things like that. so anyways… id like to know all that I should posibly know about riding and what type of bike to get. Im no taller than 5"0 tall. i weigh around 93-102 lbs. but ill tell you im not a total retard with these things. i learn quickly and im responsible.
Im not willing to spend more than 10 grand.
and how much would insurance etc. be for that?
any help and information/tips on how to get started is greatly appreciated
Firstly, congratulations! Buying a first bike is always exciting. My personal favorite beginner bike is the Kawasaki Ninja 250R: It has all the power you will need, and is small and light enough for the beginner rider, not to mention that it is very inexpensive ($4300 brand new) and looks darn good! In Utah, it costs (according to progressive) about $200 a year to insure for a 17 year old girl. If the sportbike isn’t your thing, the Honda Rebel is a good one too, though not as well built as the Kawi.
