A snowmobile has an initial velocity of +4.0
m/s.
a) If it accelerates at the rate of +0.40 m/s2
for 7.0 s, what is the final velocity?
Answer in units of m/s.
004 (part 2 of 2) 10.0 points
b) If instead it accelerates at the rate of −0.20
m/s2, how long will it take to reach a complete
stop?
Answer in units of s.
Use the same formula for both parts and plug in the numbers - and pay attention in class!
Answer to Part a:
a = [v(f) - v(i)]/t
0.4 = [v(f) - 4] / 7
solving for v(f)
v(f) = (7 x 0.4) + 4
v(f) = 6.8 m/s
Answer to part b: (substitute to same formula as other questions that I answered)
d = 4(7) + 1/2 (-0.2)^2
d = 28+ 1/2(0.04)
d = 28.02 m

Is $1500 a reasonable price for an 01 Arctic Cat 370 snowmobile with 950 miles on it? It is not from a dealer, but from a private seller. It started right up and doesn’t seem to have anything wrong with it other than a cracked seat.
Yes, based on prices seen on eBay.

I have a snowmobile that me and my father drive and play around with at lake george, ny. We go on trails and such, so for my birthday my father got me my own snowmobile to ride with him and my other family. I can’t find anywhere to get my license so it would be legal for me to drive around. Please help me find somewhere to get my license
my dad doesnt need one, he has a drivers license so it counts as a snowmobile license
where did your dad get his?

I was going to buy a 1972 moto ski Snowmobile, And i’m 14 and inexperienced on them.. How much do you Figure the Insurance would cost? (I’m not going to call, you don’t need to know why.) And i’m in southern Canada.
We can’t begin to tell you, so you’ll have to call; there’s no other source. An "average" cost doesn’t exist. Be sure you have the proper license.
